Update from inside the Theater

Thought I’d give you an update from my current home, Renaissance Theatre. I didn’t take any before shots, just during shots so you can’t tell how much work has been put into the show but I promise, it’s A LOT! Shout out to Renaissance Theatre for getting the space ready and hanging our light plot. Also like to give props to Gene Williams [Dustin’s daddy], Dustin and Jared Mink for their help with the set. Check out the progress below… more pics to come.

End of the day Sat.

Sunday morning, Lots left to do

The Giant clock...

The giant clock will up being suspended in the air, the large clock on the floor plays into the set pieces and I can’t wait for you all to see it all in action during the show! Get HERE! Once again, tickets are available at

We got the bassists in on the music yesterday and completed our pit with Heather Bales on keyboard, Debbie Rush on the secondary keyboard, Wes Ballard on acoustic guitar with Steve Howard and Tim Echols on bass for the show.

Everything is coming together and it looks like we’ll have it all done for you all Thursday night!

Well ladies and gentlemen, it’s CRUNCH TIME! You might have heard [or read in the title of this post] that our production of The Last Five Years is right around the corner! We finally moved into the Renaissance Theatre this week and we couldn’t thank them enough for all their work and support for this show. It’s our dream space for the production and I am so pleased to see it going so well. We have our orchestra pit together, our actors are definitely ready, props are in, costumes are set [thank you Julie Witcher and your sister!] poster is done and being displayed around town and now we build, paint and create. Working on lights tomorrow and some set dressing as well as building. I’m getting stoked! You should be too because this show is going to be incredible!

Thank You Carolyn Wagner

Not bad huh? Carolyn Wagner is our graphic designer out of NYC and I think she’s done a wonderful job with the poster. Also, check out next week’s copy of The Burg and the Lifestyles section of the News & Advance on Thursday… we may or may not be in there [we will]. I love this part of the process though… the moment when everything gets hectic and starts to fall into place and come together. I can’t wait for audiences to see these incredibly talented people rock your socks off. So go get your tickets at and fast! SPACE IS LIMITED! All tickets are General Admission and the house opens at 7:30 PM so get there early to get a good seat. Tickets will also be sold at the door 30 minutes before show time. There will be no intermission and the show has a run time of 90 minutes.

I am truly blessed to be able to present this show to you but I hope you enjoy it and we’ll see you at the Theater!
